€urorahakott vol 3 / €urowallet vol 3

The title is quite lame, but what else do you call something, that is essentially the same as the last two?

Anyways, a coworker asked if I could make her one of those felted wallets. As she is originally from Russia, I chose a pattern from that country. Amazingly, things are quite bad regarding the amount of Russian patterns on the web. You can find matrjoshkas but I only found one blog with patternmotifs. And this page from Etsy selling an old booklet from which the pattern could be read. Unfortunately, I cannot tell from where exactly the pattern originates.

I also managed to be disappointeb my our commerce as you cannot buy a 14-16 cm long plastic zipper. I finally gave up and bought a black one. The pictures are made without the zipper as I only managed to attatch it during lunchbreak at work.

Lõngaks kasutasin schoeller+stahl filzi nr 15 (roosa) ja nr 2 (must). Lõnga kulus vastavalt 50g ja 25g. Roosat oleks tegelikult rohkemgi läinud, sest pool sisetasku alumist osa on mustaga kootud.
Vardad olid tavapäraselt 7 mm.
Muster siin lehel üleval paremas nurgas oleva motiivi keskmine element. Äärise lisasin ise juurde.

I used 50g of pink (no 15) and 25g of black (02) schoeller+stahl filzi with 7 mm neeldes. It actually needs a little more pink as half of the inner pocket is knit in black.
The pattern can be found here (I used the center piece of the pattern on the right top corner).
